PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with shifting a clearance nozzle from one hand to the other in cleaning a narrow part and prevent an easy overturn of a body even if pulling a hose in using the clearance nozzle in a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with the body 4 storing an electric blower 3 in its inside and rotationally journaled to the upper part of the suction device 2, a handle 5 detachably attached to the body 4 and having a hollow suction part 16 at its tip part, the hose 6 transmitting the suction force of the electric blower 3 to the hollow suction part 16 at the tip of the handle 5, and rollers 9 and 10 rotatably journaled to the back face of the suction device 2. The gravity center of the body 4 is constituted in a frontward part of its rotation center, so that the body is rotationally turned in the frontward direction of the suction device 2 and detached from the handle 5. This constitution allows the hollow suction part 16 at the tip of the handle 5 to immediately suck dust without supporting the body 4 with a hand other than the hand holding the handle 5, and prevent the body 4 from overturn, thus providing a convenient vacuum cleaner.
