Optimum reception system e.g. for satellite-based global warning system, uses coordination component for synchronization on satellites

A system for application in global warning system, in which the data communicated from a satellite contains an information component (70-2 to 75-2) containing the messages, as well as a coordination component (70-1 to 75-1) which is used by the communication appliance for synchronization on the satellites. The data containing messages from the satellites are communicated at least twice. The communication appliance summates the information component received during the repeated transmissions correctly in phase and ascertains the messages from the so-formed sum-signal (76). Independent claims are included for the following. (1) a communication appliance for use in global warning system; and (2) a method for communicating messages from a central transmitting device via a satellite.
