<p>The invention relates to a flexible conduit (1) provided, in particular, for transporting fluids or powdery materials, comprising at least one sealed and flexible hose (2) inside of which a fluid or powdery fluid can be conveyed. The invention is characterized in that it comprises a straining device covering the sealed hose over at least a portion of the length of said conduit, preferably over the entire conduit. The straining device comprises at least one jacket (3) and means (4, 5) for straining the jacket. This jacket and straining means are provided for, when at rest, preserving the suppleness and flexibility of the conduit and, under the application of a specified stress, to rigidify the conduit and to hold its position over the length of the conduit covered by the straining device. The invention also relates to an actuator (15) for a conduit of the aforementioned type.</p> |
