PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for adequately agitating a workpiece while preventing it from staying on the bottom face at the rotation center of a vessel body, or from sticking on the bottom face of the vessel body. SOLUTION: The vessel for agitation has a rotatable cylindrical main body 1 with the bottom, which is arranged in a tilted form in the vessel, has a rotating shaft 2 installed in the center of the rotation, and has a projection 3 firmly installed on the bottom 1a of the main body 1 while being connected to the rotating shaft 2. The projection 3 has a bottom area of 75% or larger by an area ratio with respect to the bottom area of the main body 1. When the projection forms an angle of 90 degrees or smaller against an inner wall surface of the main body, the projection 3 has a bottom area of 90% or smaller by an area ratio with respect to the bottom area of the main body 1.
