PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely discharge a battery from a battery storage part. SOLUTION: The electronic device 1 is equipped with: a case 2; a battery storage part 69 provided inside the case 2; and a spring 161 for battery discharge pressed by a battery inserted into the storage part 69 and whose energy is stored. The spring 161 for battery discharge is equipped with: a spring force generation part 162; a first arm part 163 provided at one end part of the spring force generating part 162; a second arm part 164 provided at the other end part of the spring force generation part 162 and elongating with a prescribed opening angle to the first arm part 163; a first shaft part 165 provided at the end part of the first arm part 163; and a second shaft part 166 provided at the end part of the second arm part 164. The first shaft part 165 is fitted to a first bearing part 172 provided at the case, and the second shaft part 166 is fitted to a second bearing part 173 provided at the case so as to be slidable.
