PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a nozzle is clogged because trash intrudes into a feed passage due to the production of the trash from a seal member, when a section between a connecting part of a liquid ejection head and that of a member on the downstream side of a filter is sealed. SOLUTION: The connecting part 223 of a filter unit 102 and the connecting part 219 of the frame member 217 of the liquid ejection head 101 are fitted together via a first packing member 231 for applying sealing in a radial direction, and a second packing member 232 for applying sealing in a face direction different from the radial direction, so as to be connected together. A sealed space 233 is formed between the first and second packing members 231 and 232, so that the trash, which is produced, for example, in the mounting of the first packing member 231, can be retained in the sealed space.
