PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of providing a geographical localization service within a wireless local area network having two or more wireless network access points. SOLUTION: A terminal of a user is located at a location among a plurality of locations. The terminal measures at least two times strengths of signals received from two or more wireless network access points. The strongest signals of the several measurements are selected as valid signal strengths and a localization server is started to compare the valid signal strengths to an intensity map stored in a data base.
