PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify mounting of an AP according to roaming control, to enable flexibly changing a roaming candidate AP and to enable executing high-speed roaming. SOLUTION: A roaming control server R is arranged in a wireless LAN system configuration conforming to IEEE802.11. An AP1 notifies the roaming control server R that a terminal station (STA1) subordinated to an access point (AP1) to enable data communication, together with subscription information concerning the STA1. The roaming control server R specifies an AP to be a roaming candidate, and notifies the specified AP of a context holding request. The AP having notified acquires context information about the corresponding STA from the AP to which the corresponding STA is previously subordinated, by IAPP procedures before the corresponding STA has been subordinated to omit reauthentication procedures when the corresponding STA is subordinated, thereby enabling high-speed handover.
