PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BGM distribution system capable of freely arranging the schedule of BGM performance data and notice information to be inserted between the BGM performance data at a user side. SOLUTION: A distribution center 1 comprises a schedule creating means 12 which transmits schedule creating information to set the selection of contents and an arrangement order thereof to create a schedule when a BGM playback device 2 requests the creation of a schedule, and contents distributing means 16, 18 which create BGM arrangement data according to the created schedule and transmit the data to the BGM playback device 2, and the BGM playback device 2 comprises a schedule input means 21 which transmits a request for creating a content schedule and inputs the selection of the contents and the arrangement order thereof on the basis of the schedule creating information transmitted from the schedule creating means 12 and a BGM playback means 23 which receives and plays back the BGM arrangement data transmitted from the distribution center 1.
