PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having good blade cleaning property even in the case of a small-particle-diameter spherical toner and having such satisfactory wear resistance that high-quality images are stably obtained even in long-term repetitive use, and to stably obtain high-quality images even in repetitive use by using the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has at least a photosensitive layer 33 on an electroconductive substrate 31, wherein an outermost surface layer 39 of the photosensitive layer 33 contains both a polycarbonate resin and a polyester resin, wherein the polyester resin is a crystalline polyester having crystallinity in at least X-ray diffraction.
