PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tripod type constant velocity joint capable of eliminating grease lubrication, and hardly receiving restrictions in usage. SOLUTION: Three track grooves 4 are formed in an inner circumference of an outer ring 1 with intervals of 120 degrees in a circumferential direction. A roller 13 for torque transmission capable of rolling along a pair of roller guide ways 5 facing the track grooves 4 of the outer ring 1 is provided in a tripod member 11 incorporated in an inner side of the outer ring 1.
