PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an error between fuel consumption calculated from indicated fuel injection amount by an ECU and actual fuel consumption confirmed through sampling in a fuel tank etc. SOLUTION: This fuel consumption-calculating device is provided with an engine controller (10) for controlling fuel injection and a fuel consumption-calculating means (3) for calculating fuel consumption based on indicated fuel injection amount indicated by the engine controller (10). The fuel consumption-calculating means (3) primarily corrects the indicated fuel injection amount with respect to each sampling by using a first correction coefficient, and calculates fuel consumption based on the primarily corrected indicated fuel injection amount. The first correction coefficient is set with respect to each sampling such that the calculated fuel consumption approximates the actual fuel consumption. The first correction coefficient is set as a function of the indicated fuel injection amount. The fuel consumption-calculating means (3) secondarily corrects the indicated fuel injection amount after primary correction by using a third correction coefficient. The third correction coefficient is set such that the fuel consumption calculated based on the indicated fuel injection amount after secondary correction becomes smaller than the actual fuel consumption.
