PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power capacitance of a power source while avoiding generation of printing failures. SOLUTION: In a recording device which performs one color recording using a plurality of recording heads, when recording heads for each color perform simultaneous driving at positions different on a recording medium, the image data corresponding to the plurality of recording heads are allocated so as to reduce the simultaneous driving load.
