PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for continuous casting having a simple structure, in which replacement of a copper plate can easily be performed in a state a cooling box is left in a continuous caster. SOLUTION: In the mold for continuous casting in which a copper plate fixing plate 3 and the copper plate 4 are attached to the molten steel A side of the cooling box 1 in an attachable and detachable manner, an upper part fixing member 5 and a lower part fixing member 6 positioned at the upper part and the lower part of the cooling box 1 are provided to the copper plate fixing plate 3 and also, an upper part supporting member 7 and a lower part supporting member 8 which can be engaged with the upper part fixing member 5 and the lower part fixing member 6 respectively are provided to the upper and the lower surfaces of the cooling box 1. Further, an elevating/lowering mechanism 9 is provided to the upper part fixing member 5 or the lower part fixing member 6. The upper part fixing member 5 and the lower part fixing member 6 are elevated and lowered by the elevating/lowering mechanism 9 and the upper part fixing member 5 and the lower part fixing member 6 are engaged or disengaged with/from the upper part supporting member 7 and the lower part supporting member 8.
