The device (1) is made in two layers (5, 6) of a firm but smooth synthetic material with a bulbous front area (3) to be inserted into the rectum and a bulbous central area (4) formed into the outer layer (5) with a cylindrical rear segment (8) to be positioned outside the body of the patient. The device (1) is made in a single piece preventing any substances to enter the unit. A sleeve of the same material but of a higher degree of rigidity is integrated in the center of the bulbous front (3) in order to create an axial space for the removal of feces or the insertion of a rinsing fluid.
