Lifting device (10) has an actuator (16,26), which can be triggered for lifting the flap by a triggering device (14). Several actuators are provided on the lifting device and triggering device is fitted on the actuator so that it can trigger the second actuator after triggering the first actuator for further lifting the flap. An independent claim is also included for the motor vehicle.
