The arrangement (15) has a panel (16) that is flexibly linked and rotatable around a horizontal axis perpendicular to a vehicle longitudinal direction. The panel is connected with a relocatably supported guiding part by a leaf spring. A guide roller is provided for erecting the panel during retrieving of the guiding part, and adjusts the panel and holds the panel in a horizontal position. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a covering arrangement.
