A multimode communication apparatus wherein the functions of signal processing parts can be changed without any external resource control. There are included a radio part (103) for performing a wireless communication; a plurality of signal processing devices (105,106) the functions of which can be changed by a resource control; and a storage part (109) for storing data that define resource control functions executable on the plurality of signal processing devices (105,106). A resource control function is implemented in any one of the signal processing devices (105,106), thereby performing a function change of the signal processing devices (105,106) without providing any resource control parts exterior to the signal processing devices.
