FILM PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE

This invention provides a film pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for use, for example, in wiring fixation on surface, repair, and scattering prevention in water-type solar system panels, air-type solar system panels, solar battery panels, skylights, and plastic materials transparent to solar light. The film pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is characterized by having a visible light transmittance of not less than 65% after a 500-hr weather test, and is prepared by coating an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive having a visible light transmittance of not less than 70% onto a fluorotape base material having a visible light tansmittance of not less than 90%. In this case, the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive is free from a tackifier or alternatively may contain at least one of hydrogenated rosin resin tackifiers, or aliphatic fully saturated hydrocarbon resin tackifiers, or hydrogenated terpene resin tackifiers. In these cases, the thickness of the fluorotape base material is 12 to 125 µm, and the total thickness of the film pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is 30 to 500 µm.
