<p>Die casting system has a pump which feeds heating fluid to a die casting tool (W). Valves (3, 4, 6, 9) fitted between the pump and tool allow the pump to operate as a suction pump if there is a failure in the tool while the fluid still flows in the same direction to the tool. Independent claims are included for: (A) a method for operating the die casting system, in which the pump is intermittently operated as a suction pump when there is no problem with the die casting tool; and (B) use of the valve arrangement in the heating circuits of die casting and injection molding machines, rolling mills and extruders.</p> |
