The arrangement has a twistlock with a contact head at its free end. A movable locking unit (35) is actuated in coordination to a movement of a motorized actuated driving unit (17) in such a manner that the movement in a locking contact position takes place, if a window frame (3) reaches its closing position and/or the locking unit has a closed releasing movement, before the frame moves from its closing to opening position. An independent claim is also included for a method of operation of a tilting or a folding leaf of a window.
