Method and apparatus for the trial pressing of multi-layer tablets or coated tablets

The method involves aligning filling and ejector curves and pressing rolls in a position, a lower position and a pressing position, respectively. A rotor (10) stops a pair of stamps in a filling position. The curves and the rolls are adjusted into another filling, ejecting and other pressing positions, respectively. A layer containing material hole is filled with a material of another layer to eject a layer tablet from the stamp. An independent claim is also included for a device for trail pressing a multi-layer tablet or coated tablet in a round rotor-tablet press.
