Optical phase shift device and antenna system employing the device

A phase shift device (1) of an optical fiber signal (5) is described, comprising actuating means (3, 3') for changing the signal phase in at least one fiber portion (8). The actuating means are characterized by being such as to introduce the phase change by thermo-optical effect. Additionally, an antenna system is described, which employs phase shift devices using the thermo-optical effect. This antenna system can be advantageously applied in the automotive field or in the telecommunication field.
