An apparatus for mounting an electrical component to a bicycle comprises a mounting bracket (74), an electrical component case member and a stopper member (100). The electrical component case member is structured to be mounted in close proximity to the mounting bracket (74) such that the electrical component case member (204) is removed by moving the electrical component case member in a first direction. The electrical component case member has a surface (224) facing in the first direction, and the stopper member (100) is coupled to the mounting bracket (74) and structured to engage the surface of the electrical component case member (204) to inhibit movement of the electrical component case member (204) in the first direction.
