摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an alcoholic cryogenic heat reservoir having a very low solidification temperature, capable of forming a good solid-liquid coexisting phase even at a specified very low temperature, and capable of improving heat exchange efficiency of a cryogenic heat regenerator, by adding water to a eutectic material comprising ethanol and methanol. SOLUTION: This alcoholic cryogenic heat reservoir is obtained by adding water to a eutectic material formed by mixing about 58 wt.% of ethanol and about 42 wt.% of methanol until the content of the eutectic material becomes <=about 90 wt.% per amount of the water. Therein, the cryogenic heat reservoir can form a solid-liquid coexisting phase having a very low solidification temperature of about -150 deg.C and good fluidity at -135 deg.C, and improve a heat exchange efficiency of a cryogenic heat regenerator. When the cryogenic heat reservoir is applied to liquefied natural gas (LNG), the cryogenic heat reservoir can be used for exchanging the heat with LNG to form a boiling gas (BOG) and simultaneously to store the heat during the daytime when the LNG is consumed in a large amount, cooling the BOG generated from a LNG tank with the heat- stored cryogenic heat reservoir to reliquefy the BOG during the night, or the like.
