Dust collector and travelling cleaner

In a conventional dust collector, an air current flowing into the dust collector is diverged before reaching a filter surface. The air current then passes almost uniformly through the entire filter surface. Impurities thus accumulate almost uniformly all overt the filter surface. This rapidly reduces the effective opening area of the filter to prematurely degrade a dust collecting capability. An object of the present invention is to avoid this problem using a simple configuration. The present invention appropriately configures the shapes and arrangements of guide walls 8a, 8b that guides an air current and of a filter 7 inside a dust collector 1 to reduce the rate of a decrease in the effective opening area of the filter 7 (Fig.1).
