<p>The method involves quantifying drive power level required for stimulating a measuring tube to oscillate at a predefined frequency. Presence of a multiphase flow of a medium traveling through the measuring tube is detected based on the quantified drive power level. Viscosity of the medium flowing through the measuring tube is determined, and viscosity-induced power dissipation is quantified based on the viscosity.</p> |
