A peristaltic pump tubing comprises an inner tube 2 placed in an outer tube 3 and sealed at both ends around connectors 4. A liquid sensor 5 is at one end between the layers of tubing. The liquid sensor indicates failure of the inner tube. The sensor may be provided with a sensor amplifier 7 and wiring. 6. The connectors may have a hose barb and the ends sealed by a hose clip, a hose clamp or a clamp band. The outer tubing may be made of a thermoplastic elastomer with a Shore A hardness between 70 and 86 and the inner tubing may be made of an elastomer with a Shore A hardness between 48 and 66. |
