A shutter device (10) and a pixel arrangement (100) are proposed wherein respective shutter elements (30) are adapted in order to controllably take a first geometrical state and a second geometrical state by different degrees of actuation and wherein said first geometrical state of said shutter element (30) is adapted in order to correspond to a non-actuated rest state of said shutter element (30).
