A management unit (MG) determines elapsed time from the reception or transmission of the last instance of the data representing the state of a link. The management unit awaits for the expiry of current calculation delay, if the elapsed time is shorter than selected threshold or if the data is of traffic engineering-link state advertisements (TE-LSA). The stabilization delay of selected duration, is triggered, if the elapsed time is greater than or equal to the selected threshold, or if the data is of LSA type. An independent claim is also included for updating method of distributed routing data.
