METHOD FOR FORMING BODY PARTS OF PIPELINE FITTINGS

FIELD: machine engineering, possibly fitting manufacture, namely forming body parts of pipeline fittings. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of forming bottom and branch pipe of body part from hot cylindrical tubular blank. Blank is placed in die set on squeezing punch and it is squeezed by means of lower die and then branch pipe is pressed out branch pipe with use of shaping punch in the same die set without replacement of blank. Formed bottom has constant thickness and branch pipe has variable thickness of wall. ^ EFFECT: improved operational reliability and strength of parts, lowered metal consumption and simplified process for making them. ^ 2 dwg
