SPACERS FOR REINFORCEMENT OF FERROCONCRETE STRUCTURES

The field of use of the inventions is the reinforced concrete structures and manufacturing methods thereof. The direct goal of this invention is to fix the position of the reinforcement in the formwork and ensure the necessary thickness of concrete layer for the steel protection. The spacer offered having one of cross-sections shown in fig.1 is provided with a mortise for the reinforcement fixation and a footing. It is made of the perforated sheets or tin-plates and could be assembled of two L-type profiles with different shape and height of vertical walls of profiles folded on themselves. The footing of the spacer could be embedded in a supporting concrete slab. The spacer offered could be made of the perforated metallic tapes coming out as waste from punching processes of plain articles.
