FIELD: gas cleaning devices; chemical and food-processing industries; cleaning of smoking gas. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed gas cleaning unit has housing secured on axle with inlet and outlet branch pipes. Housing is provided with at least two through cylindrical sockets located in parallel with horizontal axis and mounted for rotation around it. Filter elements mounted inside cylindrical sockets consist of two stages which enhances cleaning efficiency. First stage of filter element is filled with fibrous material for mechanical cleaning of gas (gathering of resinous agents); second stage is filled with adsorbent for after-purification of gas and removal of excessive moisture from gas (smoking gas). Each cylindrical socket is provided with weight sensor and heating element laid in spiral groove. Availability of at least two filter elements makes it possible to perform continuous filtration of smoking gas without interrupting the process. Cylindrical socket is provided with heating element for slightly drying the adsorbent found in second stage of filter element after its use, thus making it reusable. ^ EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability; effective continuous operation; improved quality of gas purification. ^ 2 dwg
