FIELD: plastic working of metal, possibly manufacture of regular packings. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes driving toothed shafts with inclined teeth made in the form of set of pinions whose teeth apexes are shifted in tangential direction. On lateral surface of pinion teeth there are grooves or recesses. Spacing washers are mounted between pinions in one shaft and disc cutters with pointed protrusions are mounted in reciprocal shaft. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of machine, lowered cost price of packing. ^ 3 dwg
