The tower has a heat exchanging body (3) fixed at lateral walls of an envelope (2). An anti-flame battery (11) is mounted against an upper end of the envelope and downstream of the heat exchanging body. The battery has a case (12), a set of straight circulation ducts (13) and input and output collectors (14, 15) placed on both sides of the case. Each end of the ducts is situated inside one of the collectors.
