COMPOSITION FOR COATING SUPPORT FOR PREPARATION OF CELL SHEET, SUPPORT FOR PREPARATION OF CELL SHEET AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING CELL SHEET

A process for producing a cell sheet, comprising culturing cells up to a state of saturation on the surface of a support having its surface coated with fibrin, continuing the culturing for a period of time sufficient to achieve decomposition of the fibrin at cell bottom surface and detaching the cultured cells in the form of a sheet from the support surface. Further, there are provided a support for preparation of cell sheet having its surface coated with fibrin; and a composition for coating the surface of a support for preparation of cell sheet with fibrin, which composition is characterized by containing fibrinogen and thrombin. Cell sheets can be produced by simple operation using a support coated with commercially available familiar material whose safety is ensured.
