<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room access management device for recording the face image of a walker independently of whether authentication information is correct or not and whether the walker has actually passed through or not. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an electric lock mounted on a door, an electric lock control part for controlling the electric lock to be turned on or off, an authentication information reading part for reading the authentication information, a camera for photographing the walker at his front face when operating the authentication information reading part, a walk-through permission determining part for instructing the electric lock control part to turn off the electric lock if the authentication information is correct, a face detecting part for detecting the face image of the walker from a picture photographed by the camera, and an operation history recording part for recording a walker's operation history in coordination with the face image of the walker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
