PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller which is hardly missing and has high operability. SOLUTION: The remote controller comprising a radio transmitting part 24 for transmitting a control signal to a television by radio is provided with: a controller body 2 fixed within a fixed distance from the television; and an operating part 3 connected to the controller main body 2 through a flexible cable. The controller body 2 comprises: an operation state detecting part 21 for detecting a pulling operation of the operating part 3 by an operator; and a signal generating part 23 for generating a control signal on the basis of an operation state detected by the operation state detecting part 21.
