PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the corrosion resistance of a topped cylindrical metal case in contact with a fluid, and hereby to improve the operation durability in an ultrasonic vibrator used for measurements of the flow rate and flow speed of fluid. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic vibrator 1 is composed of the topped cylindrical metal case 7 including a top 4 and a sidewall section 8, and of a piezoelectric unit 2 fixed to a top inner wall surface of the topped cylindrical metal case 7. The topped cylindrical metal case 7 includes a corrosive resistant coating layer 6. The corrosive coating layer 6 protects the parent material of the topped cylindrical metal case 7, to restrain corrosion by corrosive substances contained in a measurement fluid.
