PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion circuit of an image sensor by which the data omission of output signals of photodetectors is prevented and the degradation of sensitivity caused by changes in capacity of photodetectors is prevented. SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion circuit includes: a plurality of photodetectors 1; first switches 3 which are opened/closed by a start pulse signal; capacitors 5 for storing photoelectrically converted charges; second switches 4 disposed between capacitors of adjacent photodetectors; MOS transistors 6 for current amplification; third switches 7 connected to current-amplified outputs of MOS transistors; and an output stage circuit 10 for voltage conversion. The second switches 4 are selectively connected in common and the third switches 7 are selectively opened/closed to obtain an output signal of 1/n-fold resolution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
