PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce current consumption when instruction signals for driving a load are not input in the case of driving the load with a battery as a power source. SOLUTION: A load control circuit for controlling the operation of the load, for which the battery is the power source, comprises: a driving circuit for driving the load by being supplied with a current; a first current source for outputting the current for operating the driving circuit with the battery as the power source; a first drive control circuit for permitting the supply of the current from the first current source to the driving circuit in the case that the instruction signals for driving the load are input; and a first current control circuit for operating the first current source in the case that the instruction signals are input and stopping the operation of the first current source in the case that the instruction signals are not input with the battery as the power source.
