PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and excellently receive the broadcasting of a direction desired by a user. SOLUTION: The setting device 16 of an antenna comprises: a control unit 14 for changing the direction to be high directivity of a smart antenna 12; a tuner 30 for extracting signals corresponding to radio waves received by the smart antenna 12; a CPU 40 for controlling the control unit 14, controlling the frequency of the signals extracted by the tuner 30 and controlling the control unit 14 so as to change the direction to be the high directivity; an OSD 36 for outputting information indicated by the signals extracted by the tuner 30; a remote control reception part 44 for receiving the selection of one of the information outputted by the OSD 36; the first area of a memory 42 for storing the information corresponding to the direction to be the high directivity of the smart antenna 12 and the frequency of the signals extracted by the tuner 30; and the second area of the memory 42 for storing the direction and the frequency corresponding to the information indicated by the selection in association with each other.
