PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a bend-type portable terminal provided with a connection part, by providing the bend-type portable terminal in which functional components inside the connection part are not obstructed. SOLUTION: The portable terminal comprises the connection part 19 for bendably connecting first and second case bodies 15 and 17 so that the function surface 45 of the first case body 15 and the function surface 47 of the second case body 17 face each other, a connection plate provided on the connection part 19 that is to be extended by elastic restoring force to unfold the first and second case bodies 15 and 17, a flexible wiring board provided on the connection part 19 and connected over the first and second case bodies 15 and 17, and an elastic cover member for covering the connection plate and the flexible wiring board from the outside.
