PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain feeding accuracy without depending on the length of a photographic film and the kind of a feeding device. SOLUTION: By grasping the present position and the target position of a photographic film and a holding state by a feeding mechanism in the case of feeding the photographic film, a correction state depending on the difference of frictional force or the like is prescribed (steps 100 to 106). A correction value is prestored corresponding to the correction state, and the number of driving pulses to be fed for actual driving is obtained from the correction value corresponding to the correction state concerning the number of driving pulses for feeding (steps 108 and 110). The obtained number of driving pulses is set as the number of driving pulses after the correction (step 112).
