PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide components for fixing which can reduce environmental load of a fixing apparatus by using high heat resistant protein in parts where the high heat resistant protein can be used in heat resistant materials used in the fixing apparatus for an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The fixing apparatus (F) is provided with the heat resistant components (Hh, Hp) for the fixing apparatus, which are paper peeling members (Hh, Hp) peeling off a sheet (S) passing a fixing nip (Q5) being a pressurizing contact region of a pair of rotating members for fixing (Fh, Fp) rotated in pressurized contact with each other, from the surfaces of the rotating members for fixing (Fh, Fp).
