PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet with a water purifying function, which can surely prevent leaked water from flying out, when pressure in an upstream part is leaked by an emergency cutoff valve. SOLUTION: In this faucet with the water purifying function, the emergency cutoff valve 51 for blocking a channel in an emergency is built in the upstream part of a purification cartridge 42 for purifying raw water, composed of running water, so as to turn the raw water into purified water; the valve 51 has a valve shaft 59 for being inserted through a valve hole, and a valve body 55 which is provided at the upstream side end of the valve shaft 59; a notch 71, which makes a gap for leaking pressure formed between the valve body 55 and a valve seat 65 when the valve body 55 is placed on the valve seat 65, is formed in the valve body 55; and a disc-shaped baffle 61 for preventing the leaked water from flying out is provided at the end, on the other side of the valve body 55, of the valve shaft 59. A plurality of protrusions 104 in such a shape as to protrude radially outward with respect to the outer peripheral part of the baffle 61 are provided along a circumferential direction.
