PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basin body with a wide internal space, which has excellent mechanical strength, and which facilitates manufacturing operations, transport operations, assembling operations and construction operations, and facilities for storing and infiltrating rainwater and the like by using the basin body. SOLUTION: The basin body comprises two side plate members 11 and 12. Each of the two side plate members 11 and 12 is an L-shaped and integrally molded article which is composed of a synthetic resin material and which comprises first surfaces 111 and 121 and second surfaces 112 and 122. The side plate members 11 and 12 are tubularly combined together in the state of facing each other, and two opposed sides are connected to each other in this combination. The periphery of the basin body 10 is covered with a permeable sheet 50, so that the basin body 10 can be used for the facilities for storing and infiltrating the rainwater and the like.
