PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly perform grinding by generating the spontaneously generating blade action, while preventing a grinding wheel and a workpiece from being damaged, by sufficiently supplying a lubricant, even when grinding a hardly grindable material. SOLUTION: An abrasive grain 103 is fixed by a plated layer 105, and grinding such as cutting and polishing is performed by using an electrodeposition grinding wheel having a grinding wheel part 106 of making the abrasive grain 103 and a microcapsule 104 sealed with the lubricant mixedly exist. The spontaneously generating blade action is promoted by making the abrasive grain 103 easily fall off by making the microcapsule 104 mixedly exist in the grinding wheel part 106. Since the lubricant in the microcapsule 104 is supplied to the grinding part by damaging the microcapsule 104 by grinding, the lubricant becomes sufficient. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
