THIN-WALL METALLIC CYLINDRICAL BODY, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a thin-wall metallic cylindrical body the thickness of which is≤30μm and which is excellent in repeated bending strength. SOLUTION: This method is a manufacturing method of the thin-wall cylindrical body by which the thin-wall metallic cylindrical body is manufactured by ironing after deep-drawing of a metallic sheet and the ironing is applied two or more times in this manufacturing method of the thin-wall metallic cylindrical body. Especially, after the deep-drawing, a blind tube stock is manufactured as an intermediate product. The method comprises a revolving step where the blind tube stock is restrained by utilizing the inside of the bottom part and a collar and revolved around the axial direction, an extension step where prescribed tensile force corresponding to the number of times of ironing is applied to the body part of the blind tube stock, and a forcing step where prescribed pushing corresponding to the number of times of the ironing is imparted to the body part of the blind tube stock which is revolved by applying prescribed tensile force while moving from one end side of the body part to the other end side.
