An opening/closing mechanism for a recording medium, comprising a moving body (2) having an insertion opening (9) and a rotating door (3) and allowed to move, a supporting means (5) supporting the rotating door (3) on the moving body (2) openably in an inward opening style, movement transmission means (1c, 5, 7, 8) capable of performing the opening/closing operations of the rotating door (3) only when the moving body (2) is moved, and a recessed space movably storing the moving body (2).
